Study course: SUSTAINABLE RESTAURANT SERVICE
Background: As the world moves towards sustainability and green thinking, the restaurant service needs to change. Restaurants have to incorporate “green thinking” insights so that they are environmentally friendly. Sustainable restaurant service is a challenge for practicing companies, but a good experience-building platform for young professionals.

Credit points of study course: 3 ECTS = 32 academic hours (1 h = 45 min)
- Online lectures – 6 h
- On-site at the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies – 26 h (practical work, tours, master class)

Participants: higher education institutions from three (four) countries = 15 participants (students, academic staff) (participating universities cover travel + accommodation costs (70 EUR / day = 350 EUR) with Erasmus+ funds)
As funding is very limited, at least one meal a day will be covered from University budget.
